Description

Started this back in Dec, got about a couple hours of Lum as a test while it was still low. Thought it would be an easy one given how bright it was. Little did I know I will be sitting on it for this long!

LRGB was not so difficult, but Ha data gathering (unstable weather here in Austin region) plus processing it was nuts. I was not aware there were Ha jets until @Anis Abdul mentioned about it and I looked it up. Sat it on almost every clear night regardless of whether it was moon, moonless, clouds, winds . Still the strands were faint in the integrated image. Threw in the towel and decided to run it through as I am not going to sit on Ha for 70+ hours.  Maybe sometime down the road.

Processing Ha onto the RGB image was a bit tricky as once the Ha was blended, I sort of lost the overall color that I loved in the RGB image. Even dabbled with Photoshop but gave up as I did not like the result. After several revisions, decided to process it little by little and settled on this version.

Hope you like this result. Clear skies!
